Leave a Bequest
A legacy worth leaving.
Each year, ANZSA is grateful to have individuals leave a bequest to us as an investment into sarcoma research to improve early diagnosis, treatment options, outcomes and quality of life of sarcoma.
Leaving a bequest in your Will is a legacy statement of your generosity and care for the future of your loved ones and the sarcoma community. It is an important decision and shouldn’t be complicated. We recommend that you consult your lawyer about your wishes and to state them clearly.
If you decide to include ANZSA in your Will, please use the following wording:
I (your name) give to Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association (ANZSA):
- ____________% of my estate, or
- the residue of my estate, or
- the lump sum of AUD$____________, or
- my specific assets known as ____________________________
[e.g. real estate, artworks, shares, in listed companies].
to be applied for general purposes by ANZSA as determined by its directors. I declare that the receipt of an authorised officer of ANZSA will be a sufficient discharge to my executors who will not be bound to see the application of this gift.
ANZSA dedicates 100%* of your donations towards crucial sarcoma research and clinical trials to save and improve lives.
If you want to inquire further or to speak to us about this, we are happy to discuss this with you. Kindly write to us on contact@sarcoma.org.au.
*Your donation amount is subjected to small transaction fees paid to our payment gateway provider or fundraising platform. ANZSA does not take any of your donations for its operational or promotional cost.
