ANZSA ASM: Registration is Open | Calls for Abstract

The 2019 Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association Annual Scientific Meeting (ANZSA ASM) is on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October 2019 at The Canberra Rex Hotel, Canberra.

Registration is now open and you can register via sarcoma.aoa.org.au. ANZSA members are entitled to a discounted fee.

We have extended our abstract submission deadline to Monday, 5th August 2019. If you have an abstract or poster you would like to present at the ANZSA ASM, we welcome you to submit now via sarcoma.aoa.org.au.

This will be the first ASM since the formation of ANZSA, following the successful merger between ASSG and ASG. We anticipate that the ASM will be exciting and stimulating as we look to host over 120 clinicians, researchers, scientific and allied health sarcoma experts, who will focus on discussing this year’s theme: “Individualised Care for Sarcoma Patients”.

We are pleased to announce that two esteemed international sarcoma specialists will join us as our international guest speakers at the ASM:

  • Prof Francis Hornicek - Professor and Chief Orthopaedic Oncologist, UCLA, Los Angeles
  • A/Prof Neeta Somaiah - Assistant Professor, Department of Sarcoma Medical Oncology, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.

As the peak body for the sarcoma community, we welcome you to join us at the ASM as we work together to improve the diagnosis, treatment options and quality of life of sarcoma patients.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. Should you have any queries about the ASM, please contact events@aoa.org.au
